what i eat at work: bocata.

we wandered over to the new{er} city creek cafeteria today and were surprised to find this little gem.

which i think means "filled roll" in espanol.

we shared a hot, porchetta sandwich {fennel rubbed italian roasted pork, roasted bell peppers, with green garlic sauce} and a side of israeli couscous {curried and mixed with red onions, dried cranberries, and pistachios}. it came with the most delicious bread! i learned later that bocata is settebello's sister restaurant. no wonder i loved that pita.

who would think that a restaurant in a mall cafeteria could be so delightful, so exotic, but just 500 steps from my desk?
ya hear that fellow church employee readers {hey aundrea!}?
500 steps!

Did you count? And also, is that 500 steps in heels or flip flops? Just wondering.
